School rules and Guidelines

1. 🕒 Punctuality & Attendance

• All students must attend school regularly and be punctual.

• School gates close at the designated time. Latecomers may not be allowed to enter.

• A minimum of 85% attendance is mandatory to appear in the final examination.

• Leave of absence must be supported by a written application from parents/guardians.

• In case of extended illness (more than 3 days), a medical certificate is required.

2. 👕 Uniform & Personal Hygiene

• Students must wear the complete and neat school uniform (designated for summer and winter) on all working days, including the designated house T-shirt on activity days.

• Hair should be clean and tidy, boys must keep short hair, and girls must tie long hair neatly.

• No fancy hairstyles, nail polish, tattoos, or accessories (chains, fancy clips, makeup, etc.) are allowed.

• Nails must be trimmed and clean; students must maintain personal hygiene.

3. 📚 Academic Discipline

• Students are expected to complete homework, classwork, and assignments on time.

• Bring only the required books and stationery as per the timetable. Do not carry unnecessary items.
To reduce school bag weight:
– Pack the bag according to the daily timetable only.
– Avoid carrying extra notebooks or stationery.
– Use lightweight materials.
– Check and clean the bag daily.• No student is allowed to miss a test/exam unless for serious medical/emergency reasons, duly informed to the class teacher.

• Academic dishonesty, including cheating or plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.

4. 📱 Use of Electronic Gadgets

• Students are not permitted to bring mobile phones, smartwatches, cameras, or any electronic gadgets to school.

• If brought without permission, the item will be confiscated and only returned to parents after proper explanation.

• Any offensive activity by a student outside the school premises or on social media that may harm the reputation of the school will lead to disciplinary action. In serious cases, this may include suspension or even expulsion.

5. 🚶‍♂ Discipline & Behaviour

• Students must carry their school ID cards and diary at all times.

• Respect for teachers, staff, classmates, and school property is mandatory.

• Use of abusive language, bullying, or violence in any form is not tolerated.

• Students must not run, shout, or create chaos in corridors or classrooms.

• Littering and defacing school property is a punishable offense.

6. 🏫 Classroom Conduct

• Students must enter and leave classrooms in an orderly manner.

• During class hours, movement outside the class requires a class pass/teacher’s permission.

• Active participation and attentive behaviour are expected in all lessons.

• Lights and fans must be switched off while leaving the classroom.

7. 🍱 Lunch & Snacks

• Students must bring healthy and nutritious homemade food.

• Junk food, carbonated drinks, chewing gum, or chocolates are not allowed.

• Sharing of food should be encouraged with kindness and hygiene in mind.

8. 🏀 Co-curricular & Sports Participation

• Participation in school activities such as morning assembly, competitions, and events is compulsory.

• Students must wear proper sports uniforms on designated days.

• Discipline and sportsmanship must be upheld during games.

9. 🎓 For Senior Classes (9–12)

• Students must carry their school ID cards at all times.

• Career guidance, discipline, and focus on academics are key priorities.

• Leaving school premises without written permission from the authority is strictly forbidden.

• Preparation for board exams must include adherence to internal assessment and project deadlines.

10. 🏡 Parent-School Communication

• Parents must regularly check the school diary, circulars, website, and WhatsApp groups for updates.

• Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) must be attended for the progress review of the child.

• Any concerns must be shared respectfully through official communication channels.

🔴 General Code of Conduct

• Misconduct, defiance, disrespect or non-compliance with rules will invite disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion in serious cases.

• The School Management Committee reserves the right to take action for violations that affect the decorum of the school.
